Microbiome Symposium to showcase gut-brain axis research across campus – May 26

The microbiome research community at UW–Madison is rich and diverse, yet scattered across multiple departments and schools. To bring this community together, the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery is hosting the UW Microbiome Symposium.

They invite researchers from across campus to join them on May 26 at the DeLuca Forum in the Discovery Building for a day showcasing the collective microbiome work. This year’s theme is the gut-brain axis, and the event will feature invited talks from investigators working in this and related fields. There will be special emphasis on research enabled by the shared gnotobiotic facility on campus.

Find more information about registration and about submitting an abstract for a poster or oral presentation on the symposium registration website.
