The slides presented at the all-college meeting on Oct. 21 are available to members of the CALS community through Box. (A UW netID is required to access the folder). 

“Thank you to everyone who joined the meeting, especially those who were able to attend in person. It was energizing to see so many conversations happening among CALS faculty and staff before and after the program,” says Interim Dean Troy Runge. “We will happily find a larger room for our next meeting.” 

In addition to the overview of the college, Provost Zumbrunnen took questions from the attendees on a wide variety of topics, including the upcoming search for the next CALS dean. He said he will be charging the search committee by the end of October and expects finalist interviews to be scheduled during the spring semester. He encouraged broad participation in information sessions and upcoming surveys managed by the search firm. 

There were more questions than there was time to cover during the meeting. Any questions submitted over Zoom that were not addressed have been summarized and shared with the Provost.
