Wellness resources, classes and screenings offered this spring
The Employee Assistance Office and Well Wisconsin have a number of upcoming wellness opportunities and resources as we move into spring.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. Organizations such as Mental Health America and NAMI have activities and tools to promote mental health wellbeing. Lifeline – 988 is available 24/7. The Employee Assistance Office and LifeMatters are great resources as well.
Well Wisconsin is offering two on-going series focused on fitness and wellness. All fitness levels are welcome. Registration closes just 15 minutes prior to the event. Register and find more information here.
- Virtual Fitness Class Series, a weekly series of yoga and Pilates classes held throughout the year.
Now through Dec. 14 (weekly on Mondays at 4:00 p.m. CT) - Virtual Wellness Break Series, a monthly 15-minute series of stretching, movement and mindfulness breaks for a lunchtime boost
Now through Dec. 11 (The second Friday of the Month at 12:00 p.m. CT)
Well Wisconsin is also holding a Biometric Screening event on May 15 from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at 4822 Madison Yards Way. The screening is a wellness activity that will get you closer to earning the $150 Well Wisconsin incentive.
