Lunch and learn: CALS Healthy Minds Survey results and recommendations – Mar. 31

CALS faculty, staff, postdocs, teaching assistants and research assistants are invited to join colleagues from University Health Services and the Office of Student Assistance and Support for a special lunch and learn focused on student mental health. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in Upper Carson Gully and is hosted by CALS’ Office of Academic Affairs and Equity and Diversity Committee.

During the event, presenters will review and discuss recent UW-Madison and CALS-specific student mental health data (Healthy Minds Survey, 2025) and encourage conversation. They will also highlight evidence-based prevention strategies and discuss campus resources available to support academic success and student mental health.

Whether you work with students or are a student yourself, your attendance will help CALS explore how to together to strengthen the community and support student mental health.

Lunch will be provided. RSVP by Tuesday, March 24.

The session will be capped at 80 attendees, so space will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This is important information with heavy implications for student support, so we look forward to filling our capacity.
