Grad students and postdocs invited to scientific writing workshop on Mar. 6
Are you a grad student or postdoc working on an abstract, journal manuscript or other piece of scientific writing? Not sure if you’re on the right track or even how to begin? In this workshop, participants will learn: 1) the fundamental structure of scientific arguments, or “stories” and 2) how to use this knowledge to strategically critique and revise a draft. Participants should bring a short (1-2 pages) work in progress, such as an abstract, introduction to a journal article or proposal projective narrative.
