Notify vendors of digital accessibility rule by March 11

As part of the university’s efforts to meet the 2026 federal requirement under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to make all digital materials accessible, the University Digital Accessibility Initiative (UDAI) asks that vendors who supply digital tools and electronic resources are notified about the new rule.

If you are the primary point of contact with vendors who supply digital tools and electronic resources, you must notify the vendors about the new rule’s requirements to ensure UW–Madison is following the law by March 11, 2026.
