Participate in International Education Week – Nov. 17-21
The following information was provided by Steve Barcus, Director of Communications, International Division.
The University of Wisconsin–Madison will be celebrating International Education Week (IEW), November 17-21. This week will be an opportunity to highlight the benefits of international education and exchange. For planning and promotion purposes, I wanted to share a few resources.
- Event information: The International Division will be maintaining a website to showcase international events planned for the week. We will be advertising and promoting the website through campus channels, leading up to and during the week. This website will be the destination for IEW events!
- Get your events featured: If you want your events included on the IEW website, please include the tag IEW in your UW event listing (this can be done in the “Tags” section when submitting an event to the official UW events calendar. Tags can also be added after the event has been published.) Events tagged with IEW will automatically appear on the IEW site’s events calendar. Please also add the tag international as a separate tag, so your event is added to the International Division calendar as well. We appreciate your help as we begin to populate the website.
- Content sharing: The division will be releasing several stories throughout the week to highlight our international engagement. Please plan to like/reshare these posts! If you will be publishing stories or other content highlighting international engagement during the week, let us know so we can help amplify.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, Jaya Larsen, or Kayla Daum.
