On Friday, September 12, Allen Centennial Garden held its annual Plant Adoption Day. On their way to pick up a plant, students enjoyed the garden and learned about student organizations and majors. The Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences hosted a booth where they talked to students about the D.C. Smith Greenhouse as well as two new CALS majors: agroecology and plant science and technology.

Allen Centennial Garden volunteers and staff helped students find their perfect plant and assisted with repotting. Almost 1000 plants found new homes!
