Instructors: Learn to better support student mental health

The Recognize, Respond, Refer: Supporting Student Mental Health in Crisis and Non-Crisis Situations course is one piece of a campus-wide strategy to support student mental health. This training equips faculty and staff with the skills to identify signs and symptoms of potential mental health concerns, respond appropriately, and refer students to mental health professionals and other support services. The course focuses on how to effectively support individuals showing signs of distress, both in non-crisis and crisis situations.

This is a new specialized version of this course that is customized for the teaching community. You’ll be asked for feedback to refine the course, since the customization is still being piloted.
