New funding opportunity for early-career faculty focused on women’s health or sex differences research
Apply by October 1, 2025 for the Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) program. BIRCWH is a NIH-funded mentored career development program (internal K award) designed to improve women’s health by developing a scientific workforce capable of leading independently funded research programs. UW–Madison early-career faculty focused on research on women’s health and/or sex differences are invited to submit an application.
An optional informational session to learn more about the program and application process is being offered on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. with optional Q&A until 1:00 p.m. Register for the information session at UW BIRCWH Session #2.
