Academic staff mentoring panel featuring CALS’ Tom Browne to be held online on Apr. 24

UW–Madison employees are invited to attend a mentoring panel on Thursday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. During this online event, attendees are encouraged to ask questions of four panelists to learn more about positive mentoring relationships and their mentoring experiences at UW–Madison.

Learn more about the panelists: 

  • Tom Browne is an assistant dean in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences’ Office of Academic Affairs. He supervises recruitment, retention and inclusion efforts and has had dozens of formal and informal mentoring relationships.
  • Jeffrey Guarneri is a research mentoring program manager with the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Mentoring. He providers mentors the tools they need to be a key figure in their mentee’s careers.
  • Sebastian Kelnhofer-Maldonado is an outreach and sourcing specialist in the Office of Human Resources. He has been a key contributor to the Job Rotation Program’s mentoring program and is regularly involved in mentoring relationships. 
  • Christina Stefonek is a training and organizational development specialist in the Office of Human Resources. She has developed eLearning on Mentoring and a website cataloging mentoring resources at UW–Madison.
