Spring investiture ceremony to honor CALS faculty on Feb. 27

The CALS community is invited to attend the 2025 Investiture Ceremony that will honor faculty members who have earned named professorships for their research and scholarly accomplishments. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 27, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Union’s Great Hall. A reception with heavy appetizers will be held after the ceremony. RSVPs are requested by February 12.

This year’s ceremony will honor 21 individuals total, including those who received named professorships in the last year and those who received their current professorships before this event was held annually. These prestigious awards are the highest faculty honors bestowed by the college or their academic department and are made possible by the generosity of our donors.

The individuals who received named professorships in the last year are:
