UW–Madison Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin visited Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff, WI on Oct. 14. A tour of the station showcased science-based management of natural resources and included discussions of the Northwoods environment and economy with Troy Runge, associate dean for research, and Scott Bowe, Kemp Natural Resources Station superintendent. The chancellor’s trip to Oneida and Vilas counties also included stops at Trout Lake Station and Enterprise Wood Products.

On Oct. 18, Chancellor Mnookin joined CALS Dean Glenda Gillaspy on a visit to Russell Rezin & Son Cranberry Marsh in central Wisconsin. That trip also included a stop at a Ho-Chunk restoration project at Nine Eagles Property.
