CALS Academic Affairs is seeking nominations for the CALS flag bearer for the December 2024 commencement ceremony. The CALS flag bearer must be an undergraduate student who will graduate in December. Graduate students can be nominated to be the Graduate School’s flag bearer; watch for separate communications from the Graduate School for that nomination process.

Flag bearers help lead the academic procession as a representative of their school or college during the commencement ceremony. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize one of the outstanding graduates of the December 2024 class. The names of the flag bearers will be printed in the commencement program, and they will have the opportunity to attend a breakfast the morning of the ceremony with Chancellor Mnookin, campus leadership and the keynote speaker. 

To nominate an outstanding CALS undergraduate student graduating in December, please complete the brief nomination form by November 1st.
