Wisconsin Regional Art Program Exhibition in Ag Hall
A new selection of art from the Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) is now on display in Ag Hall’s main foyer. Ally McCann, executive assistant, and Doug Sabatke, director of facilities, toured the state WRAP exhibit at the Pyle Center in August and chose nine pieces to display in Ag Hall. They are in the lobby for all students, employees and visitors to see. A sign will be hung in the rotunda with titles and names of the artists.
This year’s Ag Hall exhibition features:
- “Rex” by Rachel Mosher
- “Enigma” by David Ewing
- “Momigami Red-crowned Cranes” by Jan Wood
- “Shattered Unity” by Danna Gabriel
- “Freezing Over #3” by Terry Doeler
- “Winston In The Blueware” by Sandra Schaetzel Uecker
- “To Love is to Keep” by Jacob Lee
- “Rainbow Spawn” by Tom Lieder
- “City” by Maureen M Mezera
WRAP was founded in CALS in 1940 and helps Wisconsin’s nonprofessional artists develop their creative abilities. John Steuart Curry, an American Regionalist artist who served as artist-in-residence at CALS from 1936-46, served as the program’s first mentor during his time at CALS. Read more about the program.
