With the start of a new school year and the continued growth of visual content in marketing communications, campus has seen an increase in external parties looking to film, photograph or otherwise create content at UW-Madison. Just a reminder that we have a policy that governs these instances, and we (Office of Strategic Communication) do need to review and assess all requests that come in. Some requests aren’t a fit for any number reasons, and other requests, while technically allowable, require significant advance work to make happen. Finally, there are several legal and insurance documents that we need to have in place prior to a third party showing up on campus.
