WISCIENCE is recruiting next year’s STEM Public Service Fellows and Scientific Teaching Fellows. Applications are currently open for Service Fellows and will open for Teaching Fellows on Sept. 30.

STEM Public Service Fellows

For STEM grad students and postdocs invested in the social and community impact of their work

In this year-long professional development program, build foundational knowledge and skills in public service and community engagement, then gain hands-on experience in a mentored practicum with a campus, community, or governmental organization.

Scientific Teaching Fellows

For grad students and postdocs in the biosciences (or connected fields) pursuing careers that include college-level teaching

In this year-long professional development program, get hands-on experience with research-based, inclusive teaching and serve as an instructor (not TA). Through coursework and practical teaching experience in an undergraduate course, Fellows participate in a supportive community of colleagues and collaboratively develop innovative and effective ways to teach science.
