CALS HR benefits highlight: Prepare for Annual Benefits Enrollment with upcoming information sessions
The 2025 Annual Benefits Enrollment (ABE) will be held September 30-October 25, 2024. Sign up now for information sessions to get the best dates/times for your schedule.
ABE is the only time you can make changes to certain benefits without having an eligible life event (for example, marriage, birth, or divorce) or qualifying employment change during the year. Certain benefits require re-enrollment (Opt-out Incentive, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account) if you wish to continue them into 2025. Changes made during this period will be effective January 1, 2025.

This year, the following resource sessions and forums will be offered to help employees make informed ABE decisions. No leave needs to be taken to attend an event. Notify your supervisor if you wish to attend. Review your Benefit Information in MyUW to see your current benefits elections.

UW eBenefits portals will open on Sept. 30. We highly recommend the ABE enrollment process be submitted no later than Thursday, Oct. 24, at 4:00 pm, to avoid any last-minute technology issues or, if needed, to submit paper applications.
