Save the date: Advancing the Healthspan workshop – Oct. 18

Chancellor Mnookin recently announced a new RISE initiative, RISE-THRIVE, which is focused on the human immune system, healthy aging and the social contexts and lifestyles that allow people to not just live but to thrive. The College of Letters and Science, the School of Education and multiple other units around campus are organizing a workshop entitled “Advancing the Healthspan.”

This workshop will provide opportunities for faculty, researchers and staff who work in the area to share and collaborate with other campus leaders as we examine health and wellbeing across the life course. Participants will engage in a campus-wide interdisciplinary discussion on aging across the lifespan that includes social, medical and technological advances. The different sessions will include flash talks and facilitated discussions.
