Faculty and instructors: Encourage students to participate in CALS internship experience survey

Each year, the CALS Career Services collects data from students about their internship experiences during the past academic year and summer. This data is crucial for us to understand where our students are gaining real-world experience and how we can better support their career development.

We have created a short survey that takes only two minutes to complete. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the information and survey link with students. The insights we gather will help us enhance our services and ensure we are meeting the needs of our students.

Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to briefly highlight how CALS Career Services assists students in finding internships and other career opportunities. Our services include:

  • Individual Appointments: Personalized career counseling and internship search support.
  • Employer Recruitment Visits: Bringing employers to campus to connect with students.
  • Student-Employer Networking Connectors: Events designed to facilitate networking between students and potential employers.

Please also explore our listing of upcoming events on our website. These events are excellent opportunities for students to engage with employers and learn more about various career paths.

You can share the text below with students, saying it’s from CALS Career Services:

Did you have an internship anytime over the past year and summer? Let us know by filling out the annual CALS Internship survey

Your experiences are important to us, and we want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to support you. Plus, your feedback will help future CALS students find their perfect internship.

The survey closes at 11:59pm on Friday, September 20th.

Thanks for your help. Your input makes a significant difference!
