The CALS Research Division has developed and made available a new resource. The Grant Development webpage provides a searchable and sortable database of CALS-relevant funding opportunities. The database can be found by clicking on and expanding the “Funding Opportunity Announcements” section. In addition, users can find guidance on proposal development and tracking resources on the site.

Shanon Hankin, grant development specialist, is also available to help researchers. She works with resources on campus to support CALS PIs in finding and applying for funding opportunities (especially for collaborative submissions requiring large, coordinated efforts). Currently, she provides support in:

• tracking and compiling CALS-relevant funding opportunities & targeted outreach
• proposal development (e.g., project management, budget development)
