All are invited to the family-friendly Demeter corn roast picnic. It will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Lakeview Park, 6300 Mendota Ave., Middleton. The reservation deadline is Aug. 28.

Menu items include: pork/beef sandwiches, corn on the cob, coleslaw, apples, and ice cream.
