Reminder: Public presentations for CALS associate dean for academic affairs position scheduled this week
The search committee for the associate dean for academic affairs position has announced four finalists. The CALS community is invited to attend the upcoming public presentations of the candidates, which will be held in the Biochemistry Auditorium (Room 1211, 440 Henry Mall). There will be time for those attending to ask questions of the candidates.
- Dr. Mickey Latour, dean, College of Agriculture, Arkansas State University — Thursday, July 18, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
- Dr. Amin Ahmadzadeh, professor, Department of Animal and Veterinary Science, University of Idaho — Monday, July 22, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
- Dr. Nick Balster, professor, Department of Soil Science, University of Wisconsin–Madison — Thursday, July 25, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
- Dr. Jeri Barak, professor, Department of Plant Pathology, University of Wisconsin–Madison — Friday, July 26, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The finalists have been asked to “speak about your vision for how UW–Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences can carry out it’s land grant and academic missions”
Dean Glenda Gillaspy and the search committee will solicit feedback from the CALS community through an online survey that will be provided following the presentations.
