A Cover Crop Termination and No-Till Vegetable Transplanting field day will be held on Wednesday, June 12, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the West Madison Agricultural Research Station. The field day will include a demonstration of two new equipment prototypes, a small-scale roller-crimper and no-till vegetable transplanter, developed by visiting scientist Ted Kornecki of the USDA ARS National Soil Dynamics Laboratory, Auburn AL. There will also be presentations on soil health and vegetable production in reduced tillage systems.
