Dean Gillaspy announces search for two associate dean positions
Dean Glenda Gillaspy has started the search for two key leadership positions in the college: associate dean for faculty affairs and associate dean for academic affairs.
The associate dean for faculty affairs is a 25% appointment and applicants must hold a concurrent faculty appointment at the rank of professor in a CALS academic department. The associate dean for faculty affairs has responsibility for a range of faculty personnel issues and serves as a member of the dean’s leadership team. The application deadline for this internal search is March 31, 2024. Because this opportunity is open only to CALS faculty, follow these steps to access the the internal application process.
The associate dean for academic affairs is a 75-100% appointment for a faculty member at the full professor rank who will manage the college’s 25 employees in the Office of Academic Affairs and ensure instructional and advising excellence throughout the college. The associate dean for academic affairs is a member of a dean’s leadership team. Deadline for consideration for internal or external candidates is April 1, 2024.
