Applications for Falling Walls Lab competition due Feb. 29
Falling Walls Lab is coming to Wisconsin! The Falling Walls Foundation is inspired by the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and the dawn of a new era of freedom. Which wall will your research break? Pitch your innovative idea, showcasing a breakthrough that creates a positive impact on science and society.
This competition is open to students and early-career professionals in any discipline (see full eligibility criteria). Anyone interested must first submit an application by February 29, 2024. Approximately 15 applicants will be selected to pitch their idea in under three minutes at Falling Walls Wisconsin, which will be held Friday, April 5, from 6-8pm in Chamberlin Hall on the UW–Madison campus. The winner of Falling Walls Wisconsin earns a trip to Berlin, Germany, to present at the Falling Walls Science Summit, held around November 9, 2024 (exact date TBD).
