Applications for the Faculty Sustainability Fellows Program 2024 due Dec. 21
The Faculty Sustainability Fellows Program, which is a cohort-based community of scholars, invites applications for new fellows to begin during the Spring 2024 semester. The program will consist of three lunch meetings per semester during which fellows will have the opportunity to provide input and guidance on sustainability initiatives relating to research and teaching, such as the Sustainability Research Hub, sustainability course attribute, and sustainability certificates.
Tenured and tenure-track faculty from all divisions of campus are welcome to apply, and up to ten fellows will be selected for this program. Interests may include any aspect(s) of sustainability research and/or teaching. Benefits for fellows include: a $1,500 stipend for the participating faculty member, an opportunity to meaningfully interact with sustainability colleagues across campus, a broader view of sustainability at UW–Madison, and lunch during the discussions.
How to apply:
- Submit a CV and paragraph-long statement articulating why you want to be part of the Fellowship Program.
- Send all application materials in a single PDF to Dr. Andrea Hicks, Director of Sustainability Education and Research, at hicks5@wisc.edu.
Selections will be made prior to the Spring 2024 semester.
Deadline for applications: December 21
