On Wednesday, November 1, over 60 people came together for an event showcasing data science in CALS. Associate Dean for Research Troy Runge provided context for the event before a panel of faculty members spoke about challenges and solutions around data science in their research programs. After the panel discussion and some Q&A, there was a poster and networking session with 20 submitted posters. 

CALS is asking people with data science expertise or interest–even those who did not attend the event–to fill out this survey if interested in joining a CALS data science community. Please complete the survey by Friday, November 17.
