Catch up on the Exploring Artificial Intelligence @ UW–Madison summer webinar series

This summer, the Division of Information Technology and the Data Science Institute sponsored a thought-provoking artificial-intelligence (AI) webinar series tailored specifically for UW–‍Madison. Exploring Artificial Intelligence @ UW–Madison aimed to provide a platform for experts in the field of AI to share their insights, research and experiences.

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the importance of AI in our academic environment cannot be overstated. As technological advancements continue to shape our society, it is crucial to explore the opportunities and challenges AI brings to the forefront of higher education.

Joao Dorea, assistant professor in animal and dairy sciences, was part of the AI from Foundations to Applications panel (session 2), which took a look at research at UW–Madison. Kaiping Chen, assistant professor in life sciences communication, spoke about AI ethics and privacy during her session (session 5). See a recap of past webinars here.
