Save the date! MOSAIC cultural food exchange for campus BIPOC community – Jun. 24
On Saturday, June 24 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., please join Mentorship Opportunities in Science and Agriculture for Individuals of Color (MOSAIC) for their second annual Cultural Food Exchange at the Allen Centennial Garden!
Food tells us stories. It reminds us of places, people or sensations. This is a family-friendly potluck picnic where participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share from their heritage or family recipes.
This event welcomes UW BIPOC from all colleges, including grad students, research staff, faculty, & admin. As a BIPOC affinity group, MOSAIC’s purpose is to reduce the space between potential mentors of color and up-and-coming academics of color on this predominantly white campus.
Let’s share some culinary traditions and enjoy the day! Please register here by 6/23.
