Join the Ellison Lab on April 20 to learn about the latest research on hemp at UW–Madison from an all-star cast of researchers here on campus! The UW Hemp Research Symposium will take place in room 128 of Moore Hall from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and will feature nine speakers, each giving 10 minute lighting talks followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Topics covered during the symposium will include efforts to preserve feral hemp germplasm, evaluation of hemp fiber production and quality, genetic engineering and editing, IPM tools, companion cropping for CBD production, textiles, paper, hempcrete and much more!
