Chazen “re:mancipation” exhibit opens on Feb. 4
The re:mancipation project is a collaborative project that has undertaken a two-year study of the Chazen’s Emancipation Group and its complex history, while cultivating a more nuanced understanding of our nation and ourselves. The exhibition features three renditions of Emancipation Group, selected works from the Chazen permanent collection, borrowed works — including a Kehinde Wiley painting — and new work by Sanford Biggers.
