Allen Centennial Garden offers wreath-making workshops, with virtual and in-person options – Dec. 2-3

Ring in the winter holiday season with a one-of-a-kind wreath made by you! A perfect gift or family activity.
Allen Centennial Garden is offering both a virtual and in-person version of this workshop. Both options will provide you with a variety of evergreen boughs, accent branches, a wire wreath frame, and additional wire.
The virtual option will include a link to a video with instructions. The virtual workshop has two kit pick up options on Dec. 2. The first pick up option is from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and the second is from 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm. You may park in the garden’s circle drive to pick up your kit. Staff will be in front of the house handing out kits. This is a great option for faculty or staff since you can pick up your kit on your way home.
The in-person option will be supported by Allen Centennial Garden staff who will be leading the demonstration. There are two in-person workshops offered on Dec. 3. Our first workshop is from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and the second is from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. These will be held in DC Smith Greenhouse. The Greenhouse is on the corner of Babcock and Linden and attached to Moore Hall (1575 Linden Dr., Madison, WI 53706). We recommend parking in the Steenbock parking garage or lot 40. Both are free and less than a two-block walk from DC Smith.
