First round parking applications for FY23 due Jun. 10
The period to apply for campus base lot or flex parking permits for personal vehicles – valid from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023 – began last week. To be considered in the first round of applications, you must submit your application by the June 10, 2022 deadline. The CALS Dean’s Office will not request exceptions to this deadline. If you do not apply by the deadline, you may still apply for parking at a later date, but will not be included in the first round of assignments.
To be considered for a base lot or flex permit to park on campus, please be sure to submit your application online at: https://www.fpm.wisc.edu/trans/permits/Default.aspx.
- Log in with your NetID and password, if prompted
- Click on “Apply” in the black banner at the top of the page
- Choose your permit type and lots and click save on each lot selected
- Your previous lot choices may autofill. If you wish to make changes, you can click on the pencil icon to the left of the permit type and/or the “Remove Choice” hyperlink to the right of the priority. If you do make changes, you will be prompted to save each one.
- Click “Submit choices” to finalize your selections
You may apply for up to 4 different lots and can prioritize them in the order you wish for them to be considered. We strongly recommend doing this, so that Transportation Services can defer to your next options if your first choice is not available. Again, please consider applying for the maximum of 4 lot choices as this maximizes your chances of receiving a permit offer. When you submit, you will receive an email to confirm that your application was submitted successfully. If you do not receive this email, please contact Unit Transportation Coordinator Therese McHenry, who can confirm your application status.
First round lot assignment offers will be emailed to permit holders between July 21-26, 2022. You must accept and purchase your offer by August 2, 2022 or it will be forfeited and you will need to apply again.
If you plan to purchase a bus pass or any afternoon, night, motorcycle/moped, or multi-day permits for the 2022-23 parking year, those will be available for online purchase beginning Aug 1, 2022.
Parking permit purchase for the remainder of the 2021-22 parking year, effective through August 31, 2022, is still ongoing. To purchase a permit for the remainder of this parking year, visit https://uwtransservices.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal.
- Select “Employee or Student Login” and log in with your NetID and password, if prompted
- Choose “Get Permits”
- Follow instructions (Steps 1-7) to confirm address, select 2021-22 permit, choose payment method and confirm purchase
- A receipt showing the purchase will be emailed to you
- Your permit will be ready for pick up after 11 am the day following your purchase
Please contact your department administrator or CALS Unit Transportation Coordinator Therese McHenry if you have questions about applying for a personal parking permit.
Application or renewal of department, reserved, and vendor permits is done through a separate process. If you have questions on this process, please contact Transportation Services directly.
