Elections underway for faculty membership on CALS Academic Planning Council

Elections are underway for divisional and Extension faculty seats on the CALS Academic Planning Council (APC) for terms running from 2022-2025. APC is the primary shared governance body in the college and advises the dean on strategic planning, resource allocation, academic program proposals, and more. Additional information about the mission and membership of the CALS APC can be found here.

Four divisional faculty seats are open for election, one each from Food Science (Division 1), Entomology (Division 2), Community and Environmental Sociology (Division 3), and Genetics (Division 5). For divisional seats, there is one candidate per seat in alignment with rotational representation among departments. One seat is also open a CALS Extension faculty member, for which there was an open nomination process. Faculty may vote for each divisional seat and for the Extension seat. Voting is not open to staff for this year’s election.

To vote, follow the link below and vote for one individual (nominee or write-in) per seat. The deadline for voting is Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
