More than 100 donors support CALS strong start initiatives on Day of the Badger

The third annual Day of the Badger was held April 5-6. This year more than 100 donors made gifts to CALS and more than $29,000 was raised putting CALS in 9th place on the leaderboard. The money raised will go towards our strong start initiatives which are programs that help students explore different areas of study, learn how to access student services, and develop a network of mentors, classmates, and friends.

The university as a whole saw the day as a success. More than 5,600 gifts were made to UW–Madison from all 50 states and 19 countries, raising more than $1.7

million. You can find more details at dayofthebadger.org.

A big shout out to the alumni and CALS programs who contributed to the effort on social media.
