In collaboration with UW System Administration, UW–Madison and Flad Architects, CALS is kicking off a facilities master planning project that will be used to create a roadmap to guide the physical development of CALS for the next twenty years. The master plan development will run through the Spring of 2023 and include assessments of existing facilities conditions and space utilization followed by planning scenarios and recommendations. The scope of this project includes CALS facilities located on the UW–Madison campus; off-campus facilities are not included.

As we embark on this project, we want to capture the perspectives of the entire CALS community. A link to an electronic survey will be shared in the next eCALS newsletter on Mar. 7. This questionnaire will provide the master planning team with broad and valuable perspectives to impact the direction of the project early on. We want to know about the things that bring CALS pride and areas that could be most improved.
