Faculty encouraged to respond to WISELI Study of Faculty Worklife survey
UW-Madison faculty are encouraged to respond to an upcoming Study of Faculty Worklife survey that will be distributed by campus’ Women in Science and Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI) program. A link to the questionnaire will be emailed to all faculty by the UW Survey Center in early March. Faculty will also receive a paper copy of the survey, mailed to their homes. Be sure to open the envelope: Inside the mailing, there is a small $5 gift, funded by WISELI.
This survey is a chance for faculty to provide input on important topics related to the work environment. Responses will enable WISELI to gauge departmental climate, experiences with the hiring process, faculty satisfaction, and faculty attitudes about a number of current campus issues. Participation is completely voluntary and confidential.
Over 50% of faculty participated in previous rounds of this survey. Past results and respondent protection procedures are available on the WISELI website: https://wiseli.wisc.edu/research/sfw/.
