“Bike Through Winter” class from University Bicycle Resource Center — Dec. 7

Our next free class at the University Bicycle Resource Center will be “Bike Through Winter” on Tuesday, December 7th , Noon – 1 p.m. In this class you’ll learn tips on biking through the winter including lessons learned from a winter bicycling veteran. We’ll provide suggestions for clothing and other gear plus basic winter maintenance tips and available resources. The class will be taught by our campus bicycle/pedestrian coordinator, Chuck Strawser. Feel free to bring your brown bag lunch.

If you can’t make it or would rather stay virtual, a Youtube playlist of recordings of last year’s virtual classes is available.

We also remain open for drop in DIY repairs. In compliance with UW policy, please wear a mask when you are in the shop. If more physical distance than the shop can provide is your jam, check out our Air and Repair stations throughout campus (map). Our current class schedule and shop hours are posted at https://transportation.wisc.edu/bicycling/university-bicycle-resource-center/.

Please bear with us as we adjust our winter break hours and set our spring schedule. Things will be in a little bit off flux over the next month or so but we will try to be open as much as possible.
