Provost Scholz names CALS dean search committee

Earlier this month, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs John Karl Scholz charged the search committee appointed to select a new dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. In August, current Dean Kate VandenBosch announced her intention to step down as dean at the end of the 2021-2022 academic year.

The 16-member committee is chaired by Troy Runge, professor and chair in the department of biological systems engineering, and includes student, staff, faculty, alumni and administrative representatives from throughout the college and campus.

Additional information, including the position vacancy listing and information on listening sessions with committee members, will be released in the coming weeks. Questions about the search can be directed to Troy Runge.
