Upcoming floating Legal Holidays

• Christmas, December 25th falls on a Saturday this year
  • When a legal holiday falls on a Saturday, eligible full-time employees are granted eight hours of floating legal holiday (prorated for part-time)
  • University Staff need to use any floating legal holiday hours earned in 2021 on or before December 31, 2021 or hours will be lost
  • Faculty and Academic and Limited Staff have until June 30, 2022 to use the floating holiday
• New Years Day, January 1, 2022 also falls on a Saturday

University Staff year end leave reminders

• • The deadline to use Personal Holiday and Vacation Carryover from CY 2020 was extended by the COVID-19 Pandemic Leave Policy to December 31, 2021
  • Personal Holiday and Vacation Carryover from CY 2020 and CY 2021 need to be used on or before December 31, 2021 or hours will be lost
