Save the date: CALS portrait session set for June 18

CALS External Relations is pleased to announce the return of our periodic studio portrait sessions after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Changes to our typical location and procedures are bolded below.

CALS Faculty, staff and graduate students who may need a professional “head and shoulders” portrait are invited to attend. While the sessions remain first-come, first-served, pre-registration is required. Fill out this Qualtrics survey to pre-register yourself.

The next portrait session will be Friday, June 18, 2021, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the first floor lobby of Agricultural Hall (at the top of the curved stairs). This is an extended time window to spread out demand and reduce the likelihood of people congregating.

  • Per updated campus masking policies effective June 2, unvaccinated people should continue to wear face coverings indoors, and others may still choose or prefer to wear masks in certain settings. If you are wearing a mask, please remain doing so until you are invited by the photographer to remove it for a few seconds, only while your photograph is taken. Individual masking choices will not be interpreted as an indicator of vaccinated/unvaccinated status.
  • Please enter at the main entrance (south side facing Henry Mall), come up the right hand stairs in the lobby, and exit using the opposite stairs.*
  • Please continue to practice physical distancing if a line does form.
  • Mirrors for self-inspection will not be available. Public restrooms with mirrors are available on the lower level.

*The east entrance of Ag Hall is accessible with nearby elevator access, if needed.

This is your opportunity to get a professional quality photograph for your department website, directories, publications, LinkedIn and other social media. Examples from the last session can be found here. The background will be neutral (no color). Makeup that reduces shiny skin can sometimes be helpful.

Just bring your smile.
