On Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. the college posted a virtual commencement program recognizing 240 students receiving bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees. The program includes two separate videos recognizing graduates individually. One video includes a scrolling list of all graduate names by degree level and the second, longer video features reading of graduate names by program. When viewing the videos on the CALS YouTube channel, the description section includes times for sections so the viewer can go directly to that point in the recording.
The program also includes messages from Dean Kate VandenBosch and the Office of Academic Affairs. This college-specific content is in addition to the UW-Madison virtual commencement program posted by the Chancellor’s Office at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
We will continue to recognize our winter graduates on social media throughout the week using #uwgradcals. Select posts will be featured on the CALS commencement website.
