The college is accepting proposals for equipment to increase research capacity on projects related to the Dairy Innovation Hub. Proposals are due Feb. 4, 2021, with the expectation that funding will be available in the Spring 2021 semester.
This request for proposals is to provide key pieces of farm or laboratory capital equipment, or a comparable research resource, that creates novel capacity for high-impact research in one of the four priority areas of the Hub:
- Steward Land and Water Resources
- Enrich Human Health and Nutrition
- Ensure Animal health and Welfare
- Grow Farm Businesses and Communities
Proposals are due Feb. 4, 2021, via WISPR submission and award decisions will be made in March.
The Dairy Innovation Hub, which launched in 2019, is a $7.8 million per year investment by the State of Wisconsin to build a world-class talent pool and enable bold discoveries to ensure that Wisconsin’s dairy community is at the global forefront in producing nutritious dairy products in an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable manner.
