The following is a recent message from ARS director Mike Peters to all ARS users:

Agricultural Research Station Users,

I am writing to announce the call for submission of Ag Research Station Project Information Research Forms (PIRFs) for 2021. If possible, PIRF’s should be submitted by January 31, 2021. PIRF’s may be sent at any time of the year but submission by January 31st is helpful. Having your project submitted by the deadline will give our Station Superintendents the most opportunity to meet your needs. For research projects awaiting funding or other approval, please submit a PIRF with a note explaining the research project is pending.

To submit a PIRF, please follow this link to the ARS website: https://cals.wisc.edu/ars/ and click on “For Researchers” in the task bar at the top of the home page. Click on the project request form and follow the instructions for submitting a PIRF to the appropriate stations. The form is reviewed by the superintendent and ARS Director-they sign and date (electronically) and a copy of the PIRF is sent back to the PI.
