CALS Wellness Committee tip: Healthy eating from home

Have you found yourself mindlessly snacking throughout the day while you are telecommuting? You’re not the only one. The Cleveland Clinic offers 10 tips to help yourself through these times.

A few tips pulled from the article:

  1. Don’t work in or near your kitchen! There’s too much temptation for most of us to handle.
  2. Meal prep your lunches like you would if heading to the office. This will help you to eat balanced meals without excessive temptation.
  3. Make sure you actually eat, and take a break when you do. If you snack while working, you can lose control of your appetite and eat far more than you otherwise would have.
