Maria Woldt hired as Dairy Innovation Hub program manager
Maria Woldt was recently hired as the program manager for the Dairy Innovation Hub. In this role, she will be assisting Faculty Director Heather White in the management of the Hub budget, developing and disseminating communications, and organizing and executing events. Woldt will also be coordinating activities between Hub collaborators at UW–Madison, UW-Platteville and UW-River Falls.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from UW-River Falls, Woldt obtained a master’s degree in Life Sciences Communication from UW–Madison. Her degree isn’t her only connection to CALS—she also worked in CALS Career Services and served on the WALSAA Board of Directors. She currently works for the Dairy Business Association and owns and operates a dairy farm in Dane County.
Woldt will assume the role of program manager on February 10 and will have an office in the Animal Science Building.
