Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator Program competition now open

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Investigator Program is currently looking for approximately 20 new Investigators to support.

HHMI seeks independent researchers and physician-scientists who are pursuing discoveries in basic biology and biomedicine nationwide. HHMI provides Investigators with unusually generous and flexible support for renewable seven-year terms. The organization currently support nearly 300 Investigators, who maintain their academic appointments and labs at their home institutions across the US.

Eligible scientists apply directly, without institutional nomination or limits to the number of applicants from any of more than 200 eligible institutions. Visit HHMI.org to learn more.
