Nick Genovese was recently hired as the new safety coordinator for CALS. In this role, he will be assisting the departments and agricultural research stations to facilitate their safety and health programs. In addition to acting as a safety and health resource for the college, the role will also focus on maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Genovese attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in emergency management. He has been in the occupational safety and health field for eight years and currently maintains the Certified Safety Professional designation.
