Faculty members: Time to vote for new CALS Academic Planning Council representatives
Elections are underway for divisional and extension faculty seats on the CALS Academic Planning Council for terms running from 2019-2022. APC is the primary shared governance body in the college and advises the dean on strategic planning, resource allocation, academic program proposals, and more. Four divisional faculty seats are open for election, one each from Biological Systems Engineering (Division 1), Forest and Wildlife Ecology (Division 2), Agricultural and Applied Economics (Division 3) and Biochemistry (Division 5). An additional seat is open for a CALS Extension faculty. The next open academic staff seat will occur in 2020.
CALS faculty should have received an email invitation to participate in the online balloting. All CALS faculty may vote for all open seats. Please be sure to vote before the election closes on June 19.
